Warehouse Order Puller / Shipping & Receiving Specialist

Position Summary
The Warehouse Order Puller / Shipping & Receiving Specialist is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including order picking, material handling, shipping, receiving, and inventory control in a regulated biopharmaceutical or medical device environment. The role ensures that materials and finished goods are handled, stored, and distributed in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), GDP (Good Documentation Practices), and company quality standards.
The ideal candidate has previous experience working in a regulated environment such as a biopharma, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or medical device company and understands the importance of accuracy, traceability, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Order Fulfillment
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for internal production or external shipment.
- Verify lot numbers, part numbers, expiration dates, and quantities during order fulfillment.
- Ensure materials are handled according to controlled procedures and quality standards.
- Prepare orders for shipment using proper labeling, packaging, and documentation.
Shipping
- Process outgoing shipments using carrier systems (FedEx, UPS, DHL, freight carriers).
- Generate packing slips, shipping labels, and regulatory documentation.
- Ensure shipments comply with cold chain, hazardous materials, or controlled shipping requirements when applicable.
- Coordinate with logistics providers for pickup scheduling and tracking.
Receiving
- Receive incoming materials, components, and supplies.
- Inspect shipments for damage, discrepancies, and documentation accuracy.
- Verify materials against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Perform system transactions in ERP or warehouse management systems.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
- Store materials in designated locations following FIFO/FEFO practices.
- Assist with inventory reconciliation and stock audits.
- Support inventory transfers between warehouse locations.
Compliance & Quality
- Follow GMP, GDP, and company SOPs for material handling and documentation.
- Maintain proper traceability of materials, lots, and batches.
- Ensure warehouse activities comply with regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO, etc.).
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse areas in accordance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
Required
- 2+ years of warehouse experience in a biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or medical device environment.
- Familiarity with GMP / GDP regulated environments.
- Experience with shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment processes.
- Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Experience using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Preferred
- Experience with temperature-controlled or cold chain materials.
- Knowledge of lot control and traceability requirements.
- Experience with inventory cycle counting and audits.
- Forklift or pallet jack certification.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Plus
Pay $21 to $24hr DOE
