Summary:
The Warehouse Worker I is responsible for safely transporting materials to and from manufacturing/warehouse areas in a timely manner using a pallet jack. This person will be accountable for the accuracy, quality, placement, and delivery of products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Load and unload containers/trailers.
- Locate and store incoming material.
- Transport material using a pallet jack, pushcart, or a golf cart.
- Audit inventory locations.
- Replenish material to manufacturing and spares.
- Pick, pack, and process customer orders.
- Review Bill of Materials (BOMs) for picking and packing of parts to complete kits for customers.
- Review and scan labels to ensure that products are shipped to the right destination.
- Identify missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.
- Manage all merchandise with appropriate care.
- Keep the assigned work area clean and organized.
- Perform other duties as needed and assigned.
