Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Construction Hydration Supervisor at 1 Resource Group is responsible for overseeing all aspects related to hydration strategies and procedures on construction sites. This role focuses on ensuring that all personnel are adequately hydrated to maintain safety and productivity levels. The Construction Hydration Supervisor will develop and implement hydration plans tailored to specific project needs, monitor weather conditions, and ensure compliance with hydration policies. Additionally, this position requires collaboration with site managers, safety officers, and construction crews to effectively communicate hydration protocols and promote a culture of health and safety throughout the project.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement hydration plans based on project requirements and weather conditions.
- Educate and train site personnel on the importance of hydration in relation to safety and performance.
- Monitor water supply and ensure that adequate hydration stations are established and maintained on-site.
- Conduct regular assessments of hydration needs based on physical exertion levels of workers and environmental factors.
- Keep detailed records of hydration-related activities, including water consumption and supply levels.
- Collaborate with safety personnel to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Implement strategies to encourage frequent hydration among all site personnel.
- Provide on-site support during peak work hours to mitigate risks associated with dehydration.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within construction or a related field.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices concerning hydration in the workplace.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with site personnel.
- Proficient in developing training materials and conducting educational sessions.
- Ability to analyze weather data and assess the hydration needs of crews.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining accurate records.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various job sites as required.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
$34.00 HR and $120.00 per day worked per diem
