Job Description

Summary

The Web Content Specialist is responsible for updating Buckle.com content and maintaining the quality experience that the Buckle guest has come to expect. The teammate in this role will collaborate with the Senior Web Content Administrator to deliver accurate, engaging experiences through the Buckle.com site.

Website Optimization & Product Content Management

  • Build, update, and maintain product and promotional content on Buckle.com and the Buckle app.
  • Ensure timely launch and expiration of online promotions, sales events, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Perform quality assurance on site content regularly to ensure functionality (e.g., links, images, copy, page layouts) and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Proactively suggest content and content management system (CMS) enhancements to improve product discovery.
  • Maintain consistency in brand voice, tone, and visuals across Buckle.com and the Buckle app.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with user experience and user interface, Design, Merchandising, and Marketing Teams to align content with business priorities and retail calendars.
  • Support digital campaign rollouts with accurate and timely execution of content updates.
  • Partner with project managers to uphold workflow processes, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Contribute ideas and feedback during content planning sessions.

General

  • Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of customer service while contributing to a positive team spirit.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree required, degree in Computer Science, Design, Marketing or related field preferred.
  • Two to three years' hands-on website experience preferred.
  • Experience using CMS and basic HTML is a plus.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the Teammate regularly works in an office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
