Job Description

About the Job:

We are seeking a Front-End Web Developer to build and maintain engaging, high-quality user interfaces for our web-based applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This role focuses on translating user interface designs and bringing them to life with clean and elegant code. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.

A day in the life, what you'll be doing:

  • Solid understanding of fundamental web technologies such as HTTP, REST, AJAX and JSON. Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript / ES6, including DOM manipulation and the JS object model.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Build engaging and interactive web pages in Salesforce Commerce Cloud from PSDs, and Figma that are responsive and SEO friendly.
  • Developing HTML email newsletters.
  • Must be able to develop on both PC and Mac OS.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics in a simple, user-friendly manner.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with an ability to get the work done with minimal supervision.

What it takes to Join:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Web Development or 2+ years of experience with front-end web development.
  • Experience developing adaptive sites for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Experience using Cordial to create HTML email campaigns is a plus.
  • Experience building modular front-end components.
  • Good understanding of design patterns and best practices of developing front-end web applications.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a plus.
  • Prior experience with instrumenting A/B tests and content targeting/personalization is a plus.
  • Must be proficient in building high-quality, responsive landing pages from Figma, PSDs, and wireframes.
  • Ability to translate marketing concepts into polished, conversion-focused UI experiences.
  • Comfortable optimizing landing pages for SEO, performance, and accessibility.
  • Experience launching landing pages within Salesforce Commerce Cloud or similar CMS environments is a strong plus.

Salary Range: $81,598 - $93,995

  • Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
  • Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.
  • Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout building.
  • Hotel, Airplane, and Car Travel may be required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. As a National Retailer, occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume. This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
