Job Description

Analytica is seeking a Web Modernization Technical Lead to drive the technical software delivery and modernization of mission-critical healthcare systems supporting CMS. This role leverages hands-on solution development, technical leadership, and direct client engagement to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant cloud-native solutions in a complex enterprise environment.The ideal candidate is a senior engineer who solutions, designs, and drives a solution end to end, leads development teams, interacts directly with federal stakeholders, and ensures solutions align with CMS technical standards and enterprise SDLC practices. This is a forward-facing role anchored in AWS architecture and web modernization. The lead is a hands-on engineer who codes in Java and leads the team, while driving the modernization roadmap.Analytica has been recognized by Inc.   • Own and design the end-to-end technical solution, leading design and solution development across the modernization roadmap
  • Lead design and development of cloud-native enterprise applications using J2EE, AWS, React, and supporting services
  • Drive AWS architecture decisions and the use of AWS-native components (e.g., QuickSight)
  • Promote and disseminate technical solutions and accomplishments to CMS stakeholders
  • Plan, manage, and oversee technical work across multi-platform, multi-tool environments
  • Ensure full alignment with CMS Technical Reference Architecture (TRA) and SDLC standards
  • Direct system design, development, integration, and deployment activities
  • Implement and enforce DevSecOps practices within the CI/CD pipeline
  • Provide technical leadership across database design, file interfacing, and system integration
  • Collaborate regularly with CMS stakeholders to refine requirements and resolve issues
  • Oversee processing, validation, and management of healthcare and provider data systems
  • Ensure all deliverables meet CMS quality standards, security requirements, and development principles
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production and integration issues
  • Mentor developers and enforce best practices in coding, testing, and documentation
  • Continuously improve system performance, scalability, and reliability
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise application development and technical leadership
  • Demonstrated experience architecting solutions on AWS, including AWS-native components such as QuickSight
  • Strong hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks (React)
  • Experience implementing DevSecOps within a CI/CD pipeline
  • Hands-on Java development experience, with the ability to actively engineer and contribute code on a small team
  • Deep understanding of enterprise SDLC, system architectures, and infrastructure toolsets
  • Experience operating and supporting multi-platform, distributed systems environments
  • Demonstrated experience delivering technical work within CMS
  • Knowledge of provider data, claims processing, or healthcare information systems
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and drive end-to-end solution delivery
  • Strong communication skills with experience engaging federal clients (CMS preferred)
  • Ability to ensure compliance with CMS standards, security, and quality requirements
  • US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. federal security clearance
