Job Description

Job Title: Websphere / MQ AdministratorLocation: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)

Required Qualifications:

8+ Years of hands-on experience at scale on Middleware Messaging environments, including IBM MQ (aka WebSphere MQ), IBM Message Broker (ACE/IIB), KAFKA, and Solace
MQ Administration - performing activities, building, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting, deploying, configuring, patching and compliance.
Experience in configuring MQ Queue Managers and troubleshooting issues involving MQ Clusters.
Creating, configuring, and maintaining MQ Objects like Queue Managers, Queues, Channels, Listeners, Topics
zOS Mainframe experience is a plus.
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization, including leadership.
Strong team or technical leadership experience.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
12+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Good understanding of MQ monitoring tools like IR360
