Wedding Expo Event Host – Pontiac, MI | April 12, 2026
Sola Wood Flowers is seeking a host to represent our brand at the Michigan Bridal & Wedding Expo, taking place on Sunday, April 12 at the UWM Sports Complex in Pontiac, MI.
The RoleYou will represent the Sola Wood Flowers brand by setting up and managing our booth, engaging with brides-to-be, answering product questions, and explaining the benefits of our products. The role also involves creating a welcoming, organized, and professional booth experience for attendees.
Your goal is to help couples discover an alternative they may not have seen before and guide them toward exploring our products through our website and booking a consultation online with one of our specialists.
LogisticsThis role combines brand ambassador responsibilities with hands-on event logistics. Bridal shows typically run from midday to late afternoon (for example, 1:00 PM–5:00 PM). However, the host must arrive earlier—usually around 8:00 AM, or approximately three hours before the show opens—to prepare and assemble the booth.
Some logistical tasks may include picking up several packages from a nearby UPS Store, transporting them to the venue, and assembling the booth according to our setup guide.
Booth setup typically includes:
- A 6-foot draped table with product displays
- Two standing banners
- An easel displaying a color chart for our flower palettes
- Decorative display cylinders for product arrangements
- A rustic-style carpet defining the booth space
All booth setup instructions are explained step-by-step in a detailed PDF that we provide beforehand, so you will have clear guidance on how everything should look.
During the event, you will also keep track of the total number of visitors to the booth.
CompensationPay per project.
ScheduleThe Bridal Show takes place on Sunday, April 12, with public show hours from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM (EDT). However, the host will need to arrive at 8:00 AM for load-in, booth setup, and product display.
After the show, you will be responsible for dismantling the booth, carefully packing all materials, and preparing the shipment with the appropriate labels so the cargo can be sent to the next event location.
The full workday may extend until approximately 8:00 PM (around three hours after the show ends).
Event Location
TrainingTo represent our brand effectively, you will need to become familiar with our products beforehand. We provide a short 2–3 hour training program in advance that explains our products, messaging, and how to interact with attendees. Please ensure you have time to complete this training prior to the event, as it is essential for representing the brand clearly and confidently.
