We're hiring Welding Technicians in Lindsay, NE for both 1st and 2nd shift opportunities. If you take pride in precision work and want to grow your career in a stable, full-time position, we'd love to hear from you.Position: Welder Location: Lindsay, NEPay: $22.00+/hour DOEShifts: Full-Time | 1st & 2nd ShiftWhat You'll Do:
- Perform wire welding on a variety of metals and alloys including aluminum and stainless steel
- Complete spot welding operations on a variety of parts and products
- Position, align, and fit fabricated plates, structural shapes and weldments for assembly
- Read blueprints and drawings to plan layouts and welding procedures
- Ensure all work meets strength, pressure and quality standards
- Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to read blueprints and take accurate measurements
- Must successfully pass a weld test
- Basic math skills, including whole numbers, fractions and decimals
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- AWS welding certification is a plus
- Ability to follow written, verbal and diagram instructions
- Willingness to wear required PPE including metguard boots, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves and hearing protection
