Job Description
ERS Elite is hiring Welders to support high-volume manufacturing operations for a leading transportation equipment manufacturer. This role is responsible for performing MIG welding and fabrication on structural steel and aluminum components used in trailer production.
This is a direct-hire opportunity with long-term career growth in a modern manufacturing environment
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding (GMAW) on steel and/or aluminum components
- Weld structural assemblies including frames, crossmembers, and panels
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions
- Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect welds for quality, penetration, and compliance with specifications
- Use hand tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment to prepare materials
- Maintain production pace while meeting quality standards
- Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements

Requirements
Preferred Experience
- 1+ years of welding experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments
- Experience with MIG welding (GMAW) required; aluminum welding a plus
- Ability to pass a hands-on weld test (fillet and/or groove welds)
- Familiarity with production environments and quality standards

- Mechanical maintenance (automotive, diesel, aviation)
- Construction, engineering, or equipment repair
