Job Position: WelderLocation: Claremore, OK 74017Pay Rate: $19.60/hrShift: 6: 00amDescription:Stand-By Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Side Frame Welder for a growing industrial facility. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for skilled welders looking to join a fast-paced manufacturing team.Job Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG and/or Stick welding on side frame components and assemblies
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and production specifications
- Fit, align, and tack parts prior to final welding
- Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
- Grind, clean, and finish welds as needed
- Perform minor adjustments and repairs to components
- Maintain welding equipment and tools
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Meet production goals while maintaining quality workmanship
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous welding experience required (MIG and/or Stick)
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
- Manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing, bending, and repetitive motion
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment (heat, noise, dust)
- Industrial manufacturing facility
- Fast-paced, team-oriented setting
- Overtime and weekend work may be required
