Job Description

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder to join our team. The Welder will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components using various welding techniques. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.Key Responsibilities:

Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Cored welding processes
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
Measure, cut, and fit metal pieces prior to welding
Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and quality
Operate welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely
Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper setup
Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and OSHA guidelines
Repair or rework defective welds as needed
Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous welding experience required (level dependent on position)
Knowledge of welding symbols and techniques
Ability to read measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
Welding certifications are a plus (AWS, etc.)

Work Environment:

Manufacturing, fabrication, or construction setting
Exposure to heat, sparks, fumes, and loud noise
Use of protective gear required at all times

Schedule:

Full-time
Shift may vary (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift depending on operation)
