Job Description
- Utilize psychiatric rehabilitation principles to foster recovery and community integration.
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and recovery-focused environment that encourages growth and rehabilitation.
- Engage consumers in trusting, supportive relationships and provide emotional support within professional boundaries.
- Support individualized recovery plans to help consumers achieve physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
- Assist consumers in reaching goals outlined in their recovery plans.
- Encourage and practice advocacy activities to promote self-advocacy.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Service discipline.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally (medium physical demand).
- Comfortable working in varied conditions (heat, cold, dust, fumes, confined spaces).
- Physical abilities include standing, sitting, walking, climbing, reaching, kneeling, and repetitive motion.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
