#INDSTJOAt our leading manufacturing company, we are seeking a skilled Wheelabrator to join our team. As a Wheelabrator, you will play a crucial role in the production and maintenance of our high-quality industrial machinery and fabricated metal products.In this temporary position, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining specialized equipment, such as wheelabrators, to ensure the efficient and precise finishing of metal components. Your attention to detail and mechanical aptitude will be essential as you work to uphold our commitment to quality and safety.Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain wheelabrator equipment to clean, deburr, and finish metal parts and components- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on wheelabrator machines- Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to identify and implement process improvements- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulationsQualifications:- 1-2 years of experience operating and maintaining industrial machinery, preferably wheelabrators or similar equipment- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality- High school diploma or equivalentWorking Conditions:- Fast-paced manufacturing environment- Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required- Physically demanding role, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbsCompensation and Benefits:- $19 per hour
