Ideal applicants may have a background in construction or roofing. Duties include: animal exclusion work, repairing soffits, ridge vents and other animal entry points from the top to the bottom of homes; and data entry of work order details using smartphone app.

Job Summary:
The Wildlife Control Technician is responsible for providing a variety of wildlife control maintenance and repairs to customer buildings and facilities while adhering to safety standards and protocols.
Essential Functions:
- Perform animal exclusion work, repairing soffits, ridge vents and other animal entry points from the top to the bottom of homes.
- Perform scheduled service appointments and meet with potential customers in their home, and businesses to offer custom solutions with our set of programs.
- Conduct thorough inspections of interior and exterior areas of potential customer's properties.
- Clean up worksite after job completion.
- Serve as a problem solver for our customers by utilizing training, and knowledge provided to decide on the complete solution for our customers' needs.
- Complete paper/ computer (iPhone) records.
- Travel in company vehicle to customer locations.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Regular and predictable attendance, per assigned work schedule.
- Other duties as assigned

Education/Certification/Licensing/Experience Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Experience in construction trades or roofing, preferred.
- Must have valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- 2 years of experience with Pest and/or Wildlife control.
- MDARD certifications: MDARD Commercial Core, 7A General Pest, & 7F Mosquito required; or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Able to work in tight spaces such as crawlspaces and attics, ascend/descend ladders as needed
- Must be able to properly fit PPE respirator (limits facial hair)
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
- Must be able to drive from location to location as assigned throughout the work day.
- Performs duties both indoors and outdoors, in a variety of temperatures, environments, and weather conditions.
