gpac is partnering with a confidential, growing pet food manufacturer seeking a Senior National Account Manager to lead the Walmart Dog Food and Dog Treat business.
This is a highly visible commercial leadership role responsible for driving profitable sales growth, managing customer relationships, leading Joint Business Planning initiatives, and partnering cross-functionally to grow one of the company's most strategic retail accounts.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record managing Walmart, specifically within the Dog Food and/or Dog Treat category, and understands how to successfully grow business within one of retail's most competitive environments.
Background & Experience:
- 5+ years of CPG sales experience
- 3+ years managing Walmart and/or Sam's Club accounts
- Direct Dog Food and/or Dog Treat category experience required
- Experience owning customer relationships and delivering sales growth
- Strong Joint Business Planning (JBP) experience
- Customer P&L ownership
- Sales forecasting and demand planning experience
- Experience leveraging syndicated data (Nielsen, Circana/IRI, Luminate, Scintilla)
- Category Management experience preferred
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to travel up to 15%

Compensation: $120K–$130K Base Salary + July & December discretionary bonuses.
