Job Description
Address Building:Northtec PADC300 Crossings DriveBristol PA 19007(we do work out of 200 Crossings Drive as well but 300 is the primary address)
Hours Work:7:00am
Responsible for small sub area of distribution in terms of employee training, daily output, inventory accuracy, and order quality to meet daily shipping targets across all retailer orders and stock transfer orders.
Accountabilities:(tasks listed below may vary depending upon assigned location)Assign employees to workstationsEnsure team members are able to hit productivity goals, escalate to supervisor if neededPrioritize and delegate workload based on daily pickup timesTrain new employees on safety procedures and departmental work instructionsInspect and audit orders or finished goods for accuracy, content and specifications utilizing systems where appropriate.Provides a quality standard for order handlers or material handlers to use as a guideline for product quality.Troubleshoot and resolves inventory discrepancies, escalating to supervisor as neededLead investigations of issues affecting KPIsAssist supervisor with random audits. Documents results. Verify processes are being followed to drive Zero Defect.Evaluate process/product through required inspections to ensure conformity to standardized process specifications and quality standards. Participate in non-conformance investigations. Documents results.Assists supervisor in Root Cause analysis of Quality/Accuracy issues and recommends corrective action. May assist with any recommended re-training.Performs a variety of clerical functions including record keeping, reporting and daily performance recaps to management. Input's information into computer system.Follows all safety and good manufacturing practices (GMP's).Performs various other duties as assigned
Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent or related experience.Good communication skills and demonstrated knowledge of English, reading and writing. Basic knowledge of arithmetic.Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously to drive KPIsDemonstrated leadership skills in team building, safety and qualityFor Distribution, a minimum of one-year Distribution or Quality coordinator experience preferred.Must be able to lift 50 pounds.Must demonstrate leadership ability.Ability to navigate in computer systems such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet & Intranet.Must be able to work overtime as neededWill require a criminal background check.
