Position: Workday Integration DeveloperLocation: Milwaukee, WisconsinWork Model: Onsite / HybridContract Duration: Initial 3 YearsRenewal Options: Two (2) Additional 1-Year ExtensionsMaximum Contract Term: 5 YearsClient is seeking an experienced Workday Integration Developer to design, develop, implement, support, and optimize enterprise Workday integration solutions that enable seamless connectivity between Workday and internal/external business systems.The selected consultant will be responsible for developing, testing, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining Workday integrations utilizing Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, APIs, and related integration technologies. This role requires strong technical expertise in Workday integration frameworks, enterprise data exchange, interface troubleshooting, and system interoperability.The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience developing Workday integrations, supporting enterprise data flows, resolving integration issues, and ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and compliance across interconnected systems.The City's Workday ecosystem integrates with external platforms including DocuSign, Equifax, Microsoft Teams, Voya, Ameriflex, JobAps, and other enterprise applications supporting Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Recruiting, and workforce management functions.Experience• 5+ years of Integration Development, ERP Integration, or Enterprise Application Integration experience.• 3+ years of Workday Integration Development experience.• Experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying Workday integrations.• Experience utilizing:

Workday Studio
Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
Core Connectors
Workday Web Services
REST APIs
SOAP APIs

• Experience supporting inbound and outbound Workday integrations.• Experience developing file-based, API-based, and real-time integrations.• Experience supporting data transformation, validation, and reconciliation processes.• Experience troubleshooting and resolving integration failures and data issues.• Experience monitoring integration performance and system connectivity.• Experience supporting Workday implementations, upgrades, and enhancement projects.• Experience integrating Workday with third-party systems and vendors.Skills• Advanced Workday Integration Development expertise.• Strong Workday Studio development skills.• Strong EIB and Core Connector experience.• Strong API integration and web services knowledge.• Strong XML, XSLT, JSON, and data transformation skills.• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis abilities.• Strong understanding of enterprise integration architecture.• Strong data mapping and interface design capabilities.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications• Government or Public Sector experience.• Workday Pro Integration Certification.• Experience with Workday HCM integrations.• Experience with Workday Payroll integrations.• Experience with Workday Benefits integrations.• Experience with Workday Financials integrations.• Experience supporting cloud-based enterprise applications.• Experience with middleware and enterprise integration platforms.• Experience with enterprise identity management integrations.• Experience supporting large-scale ERP transformation initiatives.
