We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workday Solution Architect to serve as a hybrid role across sales, solutioning, and delivery. This role bridges the gap between pre-sales strategy and post-sale implementation, guiding clients from initial vision through successful deployment and optimization of Workday solutions.
The ideal candidate brings deep Workday expertise, strong consulting experience, and the ability to influence deals, design scalable solutions, and lead complex implementations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Pre-Sales Solutioning
Partner with sales teams to shape and drive Workday opportunities from early-stage discovery through deal closure
Lead solution design sessions with prospective clients, translating business requirements into tailored Workday solutions
Support proposal development, including solution approach, scope, pricing, timelines, and Statements of Work (SOWs)
Participate in client presentations, demos, and Orals, providing technical and functional expertise
Implementation & Design
Design end-to-end Workday solutions across HCM and/or FINS and related modules, ensuring scalability and alignment to client needs
Provide guidance on best practices, trade-offs, and long-term system design
Stay current on Workday releases, features, and industry trends
Lead Workday implementations across HCM or FINS modules (Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent, Assets, Procurement, Projects, Strategic Sourcing, etc.)
Translate business needs into practical, scalable Workday solutions
Client Engagement & Advisory
Build strong relationships with HR and executive stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor
Provide strategic guidance on Workday adoption, optimization, and roadmap planning
Support clients through post-go-live stabilization and continuous improvement
Qualifications
Experience
5+ years of experience in Workday consulting, solution architecture, or enterprise applications
Proven experience across both pre-sales (solutioning, proposals) and implementation delivery
Experience leading multiple full lifecycle Workday implementations
Workday certifications required
Ability to Travel 50%
