Essential Duties:

Supervise patient care
Administers treatment as prescribed within standard nursing practice guidelines and in full compliance with established infection control protocols
Performs and records weekly pressure ulcer assessment and measurement documentation
Monitors the progress of wound healing and makes recommendations
Provide orientation and in-service to staff/personnel
Assure compliance with local, state and federal laws including problem resolution, complaint investigation

Qualifications:

Current Louisiana Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Must have current CPR Certification
WOCN or WCC Certification preferred
Compassionate RN with great time management skills
