Job Description

  • Position: Contract X-Ray Technologist

  • Location: New York, 14642

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday (5x8-hour shifts)

  • Pay: $2,351 – $2,635 per week

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program

  • Licensed by the New York State Department of Health

  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience

  • Experience in an OR setting at a Level 1 Trauma Center

  • BLS Certification (must be from the American Heart Association)

  • Experience with C-Arm procedures

  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed

  • Must be able to take on-call/callbacks shifts (2–3 per month), including holidays as needed

  • Ability to respond within 30 minutes

Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic procedures at a technical level

  • Coordinate daily imaging activities efficiently

  • Ensure patient safety and proper positioning during procedures

  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment

  • Follow established protocols and regulatory standards

  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care

  • Assist with moving and shifting patients safely
