Job Description

X-Ray Tech Radiology / CardiologyJoin our dynamic healthcare team as an X-Ray Tech specializing in Radiology and Cardiology, where your skills will directly impact patient care and outcomes. This vital role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures for emergency department, outpatient, and in-house patients, with a focus on fluoroscopy procedures. If you are committed to delivering high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced environment, this opportunity offers both professional growth and competitive compensation.Required Skills:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiologic imaging
Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
ARRT-R certification
BLS certification
LSRT certification (will accept temporary LSRT credential; valid within 3-5 days of fee submission andproof of ARRT certification)
Experience operating Philips, GE, and CareStream portable imaging equipment
Strong knowledge of radiology safety protocols
Ability to perform fluoroscopy procedures accurately and efficiently

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience in cardiology imaging or related specialties
Additional certifications in advanced imaging techniques
Familiarity with other imaging modalities or portable digital systems

Preferred Education and Experience:

Associates degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field
At least two years of recent clinical radiology experience, preferably in hospital or emergency settings

Other Requirements:

Schedule entails weekend shifts, primarily Saturdays and Sundays from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, and weekdays Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with possible schedule variations based on unit needs
No on-call, float, or holiday responsibilities
Must work in black or gray scrubs
Willingness to adhere to shift hours and provided schedule
