Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of experience in extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, chest/thorax, ER, OR, and Level 1 trauma settings. The role requires certifications in BLS and ARRT, with an active license pending okay. Proficiency in operating GE and Siemens imaging equipment is essential. The position involves a shift schedule of Friday 7 AM to 7 PM and Saturday-Sunday 6 AM to 6 PM, with compensation at $54.12 per hour. First-time travelers are encouraged to apply.
Required skills include strong knowledge of radiologic procedures, exceptional attention to detail, ability to work efficiently under pressure, and excellent communication skills. Familiarity with surgery/C-Arm procedures and experience in high-volume trauma centers are preferred. Additional desirable skills include experience with advanced cardiac imaging and cross-training in cardiology imaging modalities.
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant educational background in radiologic technology or related field, with preferred experience in trauma and surgical imaging. Licensure and certification requirements must be current and maintained throughout employment. Other requirements include adherence to hospital protocols, reliable transportation, and flexibility to cover call-ins, with shifts added at the end of contracts if absent.
