Web Application Developer - TS

Xcelerate Solutions is currently seeking an experience Web Application Developer. As a Web Application Developer, you will play a pivotal role supporting our federal client as our team designs, architects and implements a secure application development environment (ADV) specifically engineered to accelerate the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) transformation. This environment will integrate automated security controls directly into the client's Continuous Delivery Pipeline and prioritize developer productivity and autonomy as well as enable Zero Trust architecture that scales across distributed teams without compromising the Lean-Agile mindset. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain well‑structured, efficient, and secure web‑based applications using modern development practices.
• Translate UI/UX wireframes, prototypes, and design concepts into responsive, accessible, and user‑friendly web interfaces.
• Recommend software upgrades, modernization opportunities, and improvements for current and future systems.
• Ensure application functionality, performance, and security through ongoing maintenance, testing, and optimization.
• Document application architecture, APIs, workflows, and configuration details to support future maintenance and enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams-including architects, developers, testers, and security engineers-to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and mission needs.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to backlog refinement, sprint planning, and iterative delivery.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across development, test, and production environments, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Integrate automated security controls and testing into the development workflow to support DevSecOps practices.
• Develop reusable components, libraries, and patterns that support scalable, cloud‑native web applications.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree applicable field of study
• Experience in one of the following:
• AWS Cloud based solutions
• C#
• Java
• Python
• Experience developing software in an Agile or SAFe environment.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming, design patterns, and modern development practices.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across development, test, and production environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting federal systems, ATO processes, or compliance frameworks
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST 800‑53, or Zero Trust principles
