Job Description
REIC (Midway Rental) in Great Falls is hiring a Yard Technician who is experienced with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues and passionate about quality and customer service. As a Yard Technician, your responsibilities will include meticulously washing and detailing rental equipment before delivery, inspecting small equipment for quality, managing the hookup and receiving of trailer or smaller rented items, and enhancing the visual appeal of our yard.

A typical day might include the following:
- Prepping yard for start and close of business
- Loading and unloading equipment and communicating rental details with the Rental Coordinator
- Wash and make any necessary repairs to returned equipment and ensure it is rent ready
- Assist in the look, appearance, and arrangement of equipment in the yard
Top candidates will have:
- A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a forklift, AWP, and propane training tests
- A focus for safety
- Clean driving record and minimum age of 21
Additional qualifications:
- Ability to take instruction and understand goals and processes
- Ability to work fluctuating schedules which include some Saturdays
- Complete other duties as assigned
- Ability to take comprehend job related duties in both verbal and written formats
- Comfortable working with limited supervision at times
Physical demands
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and the ability to perform tasks such as walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds several times throughout a shift
- % of workday performing, but not limited to:
- Standing 50%
- Walking 45%
- Sitting 5%
This position is classified as nonexempt.
