We are seeking a Yard Technician to join our Ranson, WV factory. This position will work Monday- Friday 10:00pm- 6:00am
Pay: $22/hour
This position is eligible for an additional $1 per hour night shift differential

Your future team:
The Yard Technician plays an instrumental role in our production process - getting it started! When raw materials arrive at the site, they're stored in bulk material bunkers and it's the responsibility of the Yard Technician to not only fill the raw material silos using a wheel loader but also maintain and oversee a variety of additional equipment not limited to Conveyors, sieves, roll mill and additional yard equipment. Performing in this fast-paced working environment you will be responsible for ensuring raw and recycled materials are handled properly in accordance with the demand by the production line as well as maintaining a satisfactory level of housekeeping and equipment ownership.
What you will be doing:
- Effectively coordinating the delivery of raw materials when they arrive on site Via dump truck.
- Maintain waste and silo levels using yard equipment including but not limited to wheel loader. Skid loader and forklift.
- Time will be split on shift between heavy equipment operating and stone and wool waste processing plant operating and light Maintenance.
- Accountable for the quality and quantity of product placed in bulk material bins or loaded on trailers to support execution of high-quality stone wool by the operations team against the supplied production plan.
- Maintain additional equipment with a sense of ownership by cleaning, clearing jams and working alongside Maintenance to ensure proper operation of our receiving equipment.
- Adhere to established ROCKWOOL safety, quality and environmental standards to identify and mitigate/escalate quality or environmental risks/issues.
What you bring:
- Previous experience operating a forklift, clamp truck, front end load, and skid steer required, preferably in a continuous flow manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Previous experience with raw materials and aggregates intake process preferred.
- Previous experience troubleshooting conveyors, sieves, crushers, and other stone processing equipment preferred
