A DAY IN THE LIFE OF WORKING AS A YOGA INSTRUCTOR:

As a Yoga Instructor, you will provide group yoga instruction in our Lifestyle Center, as assigned by the Director of Fitness. Instructors are responsible for managing their studio, including setting up the room before the start of class, providing music and content that is appropriate for older adults, and making sure that the studio is cleaned and equipment is put away after the class. You will modify your instruction to accommodate all fitness levels, secure coverage for assigned class(es) in case of your absence, and maintain professional relationships with all class participants and Club members.

JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be certified and registered through the Yoga Alliance.
Must have current CPR/ AED certification.
A minimum of two years of experience working with older adults is preferred.
Must have good communication skills and be able to instruct participants of all ages and abilities.
Must be an individual who is on time, courteous, and able to get along with all members and staff of the Bonita Bay Club.
Must be able to pass a drug test.
