- This is a learn while you work position!
- Assist in fabrication and installation of sheet metal fittings| Or assist in engineering and design- depending on your areas of interest
- Work with Journeymen/Engineers to construct fabrications from customer drawings (involves custom fabricated items)
- cutting, measuring, assembling, insulating, etc.
- Assist with building maintenance (sweeping, shop clean up, organizing shop, etc.)
- Grinding
- Loading/unloading vehicles
- Learn the entry level parts of a skilled trades job/engineering/design work from people who are doing the job! Hands on!
- If you're working as a Youth Apprentice, you'd be working during school hours AND earning credit! If you like it, start working on a plan for a full-time role after graduation Earn while you learn! $16.50/hour
- Be dependable and punctual
- Be organized
- Good communication and a positive attitude
- Follow directions
- Have strong math competency
- Have strong reading comprehension
- Be a High School Student
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Have a valid WI Driver’s License
