Empower Youth, Foster Growth, and Make a Lasting Impact
Full Life provides individualized support for young people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), helping them grow their independence and engage in community life. With offices in Hilo and Kona, our team has spent more than 20 years building a trusted, supportive environment for youth and families.
Position: Youth Support
As a Youth Support, you'll support students young students and participants with their daily activities and personal growth, helping them build independence, connect with their community, and achieve their goals.
What You'll Do / Day-to-Day
Typical responsibilities include:
Assisting with daily routines and activities tailored to each student's needs
Supporting skill-building, goal achievement, and independence
Helping participants attend appointments, social activities, and community outings
Documenting progress and maintaining detailed notes on participant goals
Collaborating with families to ensure consistent and effective support
Creating a safe and supportive environment that fosters emotional and physical growth
Who We're Looking For
We welcome candidates from all backgrounds - no prior experience is required. We provide full training for the right person. Ideal candidates are:
18 years or older
High School Diploma (degree in related fields is a plus)
Compassionate and patient, with empathy for student needs
Strong communication skills to connect with students, families, and team members
Flexible availability in afternoons (1-6 p.m.) and occasional weekends
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

Starting Pay: $22.00/hr (part-time or full-time)
- Training Pay: $18.00/hr
