Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for energetic, reliable instructors who enjoy working with kids! You will help children build confidence and learn the basics of cheerleading in a fun, positive environment.
What You Will Need
- Experience working with children
- Comfort in an athletic or recreational setting
- Basic knowledge of cheerleading (we provide curriculum and training)
- Punctuality, professionalism, patience, and enthusiasm
- Reliable transportation to and from school sites
- Availability between 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM on weekdays
What You Will Do
- Lead or assist after-school cheer classes at local elementary schools
- Run high-energy sessions focused on fun, teamwork, and skill-building
- Manage and transport your assigned equipment bag
- Engage kids in grades K-6th
- Ensure every child is safely dismissed before leaving
Pay and Growth
- Starting pay: $20-$25/hour based on experience
- Top rate of $30/hour for returning, experienced coaches
Work Environment
- Part-time, typically 1-3 days per week
- Classes have 10-20 kids
- Mandatory training
- Background check and fingerprinting mandatory
