Youth Volleyball InstructorJoin the YMCA Sports Team!Are you passionate about volleyball and making a positive impact on young athletes? The YMCA is looking for an energetic, dependable, and enthusiastic Youth Volleyball Instructor to help create a fun, encouraging, and skill-building environment for youth participants of all ages and ability levels.At the YMCA, you'll do more than teach sports - you'll help build confidence, teamwork, leadership, and lifelong memories within your community.Position SummaryThe Youth Volleyball Instructor will assist with a variety of youth volleyball programs and activities, helping participants develop skills while promoting sportsmanship and teamwork in a safe and supportive environment.QualificationsSome volleyball playing and/or coaching experience preferred (Just a basic knowledge of the sport needed!)Experience engaging and working with youth of varying ages
Positive attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work evenings and weekends during volleyball seasons
Dependable, energetic, and committed to creating a positive experience for participants and families
ResponsibilitiesAssist with or coach youth volleyball teams
Help lead volleyball training sessions and skill clinics
Supervise or assist with open gym activities
Operate scoreboards during games and events
Encourage sportsmanship, teamwork, and skill development
Support YMCA staff in creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all participants
