The Role

As the Head of Brand Design, you will be the architect of Intro's visual universe. This is a high-impact leadership role that requires a "player-coach" mentality. You will set the global creative vision while remaining deeply "in the tools" to execute handcrafted, premium design work at a high-volume output.

• Own the Visual Identity: Define and evolve the Intro brand aesthetic across every touchpoint – ensuring it feels striking, elevated, and authoritative.

• Creative Excellence: Push our brand expression forward with exceptional taste, craft, and a high bar for visual excellence.

• High-Volume Execution: Lead the hands-on creation of stellar assets for paid ads, organic social, lifecycle marketing, blog, and web.

• Social Storytelling: Develop striking visual formats for organic social that turn expert knowledge into scroll-stopping experiences – blending premium typography, motion, and AI-assisted art to build a cult-following.

• Performance Creative: Drive a high-output engine of engaging visual formats that push the boundaries of performance marketing; you will constantly iterate on thumb-stopping creative that converts while maintaining brand integrity.

• Systems Thinking: Build and maintain a world-class brand system to allow for rapid, high-quality scaling.

• AI-Native Workflow: Actively use and experiment with AI design and automation tools to accelerate ideation and production. You must be someone who is open and eager to use AI to transform the creative process.

• Product/UX Flex: Apply your aesthetic lens to landing pages and other extensions of product, ensuring the user experience matches the premium promise of the brand.

• Collaboration: Work with the CEO and founding team to translate business goals into visual stories, collaborating with a network of contractors, creators, and world-class experts.

The Person In The Role

You have a book of work that demonstrates exceptional craft at a premium level. We do not care about where you worked before, but your talent and drive must be 10x.

• You Are a Master Crafter: You are happiest when designing or being creative. You believe no detail is too small.

• You Are Customer Obsessed: You care less about what other designers think, and more about providing an incredible experience for the people who are experiencing the brand every day.

• You Are Tech-Obsessed: You have a deep curiosity for current tech and are already integrating AI (Claude, Gemini, Midjourney, etc.) into your professional workflow.

• You Move Fast: You thrive in a startup environment where speed and output are the norms. You love the fact that you’re not working on a pixel, but instead you’re owning the whole creative vision.

• You Are a Multi-Hyphenate: You possess the versatility to move seamlessly between typography, colors, photography, video, and AI-generated art. Whether designing a complex email system or premium paid ad, you have the range to master whatever tool—and format—is required to advance the brand.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in brand design or art direction, with a focus on premium brands (Caveat: if you’re exceptional, we do not care about résumé pedigree)

• Mastery of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite

• Expertise in AI design tools as a core part of your creative process

• A portfolio that demonstrates elevated visual storytelling

• Powerful bonuses:

  • Experience with video: editing, VFX, motion graphics

  • UX skills: product design, prototyping, coding

Compensation

• Comp: $165,000 – $210,000

• Equity: Options incentive in a venture-backed startup.

On your first day, we’ll do a few exercises to help you identify your life goals. We’ll ask questions like “what do you imagine your life looking like if you achieved all of your goals” and “why are those goals important to you?” Once we identify these, they become our goals and we will work together to help make them a reality.

Next, we’ll ask you about things that matter to you in the short term. These could be things like a gym membership, meditation classes, or an allowance to attend concerts. It’s an open ended exercise and we’ll come up with a perks package that makes you feel valued. Please note, we cannot yet buy you a ticket on a SpaceX rocket. It’s been asked!
