Building distributed systems at scale based on microservices architecture. Object-oriented programming experience using languages and C#, TSQL, and Typescript. Framework experience such as Blazor, .NET, Angular, SQL and NoSQL databases. API Management systems like Apigee, as well as REST API design and implementation. Azure and/or AWS public cloud technology stack. Container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Continuous integration with robust build and test automation, including cross platform stacks and containerization (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, JFrog Artifactory). Code reuse to decrease time to market, create code uniformity, increase scalability and agility. Monitoring system performance trends and recommends improvement plans. Participation in an Agile Development pod using the Scrum framework to manage user stories, backlog, and sprints. Responsibilities & Expectations: We are looking for talented Field Service Technicians to perform service, diagnostic, repair and preventive maintenance. IPS Field Service Technicians demonstrate strong repair skills and commitment for providing an Unmatched Customer Experience. Provide mechanical services on electric motor repairs and rebuild electrical power products. Work safely alone and as part of a team Closely adhere to all safety standards and procedures Effectively contribute to a strong team environment through assisting teammates in accomplishing mutual goals Inspect and test various electro-mechanical equipment Perform electrical tests using portable electronic equipment including but not limited to: Megger, PdMA MCE, Multimeter, and DLRO Install/Remove AC and DC electric motors, laser align equipment, read precision measuring tools such as micrometers, replace sleeve and anti-friction bearings, set seals, air gap, torque critical components to proper torque specs Clean electro-mechanical equipment utilizing bead blasting, ice blasting, and solvent cleaning Ensure a professional environment utilizing customer facing skills Complete assigned work in compliance with operative policies and procedures Perform work in compliance with operating policies and procedures Qualifications and Competencies: PdMA testing experience preferred Level I Vibration Analysis preferred 2+ years of AC/DC motor experience Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions with precise execution Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow standardized work procedures, and apply strong analytical problem-solving dynamics in a continuous improvement environment Ability to collaborate with team members Strong customer focus with professional communication Available and willing to work flexible hours, overtime and weekends as required, willingness to be on call Ability to perform math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division including understanding fractions and percentages Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic computer skills Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record Ability to travel locally and overnight Optional: OEM VFD Drive certifications- Eaton- ABB - Toshiba- Yaskawa or other Requires 3+ years of driving experience You'll thrive at IPS if you… Lead with integrity and prioritize safety. As an Application Architect at Marsh McLennan Agency, you will collaborate with a dynamic team of architects and developers to design, develop, and implement application architecture solutions that align with our strategic goals. Your day begins with engaging cross-functional teams to discuss project statuses and address any architectural challenges. You will assess application performance metrics and participate in Agile ceremonies, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable. Throughout the day, you will conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and gather feedback to refine architectural processes. We'd like to see your hands-on experience include most of the following:

  • Complex software product delivery in an Agile environment.
  • Building distributed systems at scale based on microservices architecture.
  • Object-oriented programming experience using languages and C#, TSQL, and Typescript.
  • Framework experience such as Blazor, .NET, Angular, SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • API Management systems like Apigee, as well as REST API design and implementation.
  • Azure and/or AWS public cloud technology stack.
  • Container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Continuous integration with robust build and test automation, including cross platform stacks and containerization (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, JFrog Artifactory).
  • Code reuse to decrease time to market, create code uniformity, increase scalability and agility.
  • Monitoring system performance trends and recommends improvement plans.
  • Participation in an Agile Development pod using the Scrum framework to manage user stories, backlog, and sprints.
  • An interest in new technologies and trends in Open Source, UI, AI etc.

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Insurance or Finance Industry related knowledge.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $92,200 to $161,300.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
