Primary responsibilities include assistance with robotic knee studies including testing coordination, specimen preparation and alignment, hands on testing, data analysis, and preparation of manuscripts for publication. REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES: Work directly with an orthopaedic sports medicine specialist and biomechanical engineering scientist in the experimental design, data analysis, and preparation of a manuscript for publication. Work with the bioengineering scientist in learning how to maintain, operate, and debug issues related to the use of a 3-D robotic testing system. Work with a medical specialist in the preparation of specimens and conducting experiments that require specialized knowledge of knee anatomy. Perform final dissection of isolated knee specimens and mounting within the robot. Maintain laboratory supplies needed for testing including the placement of specimen orders. Coordinate testing schedule with appropriate personnel to ensure testing is completed without delays. Maintain and backup of data/databases from robotic testing Research current topics in knee injury and repair to help guide current and future research efforts. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in a mechanical engineering with an emphasis on biomechanics, biomedical engineering, or kinesiology. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients and assemble menu items as directed, and plating food items.
  • Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Support hot prep team in cooking, assembling and plating food items.
  • Ensure all food preparation adheres to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Assist with setup and breakdwon of prep stations before and after events.
  • Ensue all food is cooked to proper temperatures and quality standards.
  • Maitain cleanliness and organization of workstations and cooking equipment.
  • Support inventory managment by notifying supervisors of low stock levels.
  • Adhere to portion control guidelines, follow recipes and presentation standards.
  • Respond quickly to the needs of the kitchen and service staff during high-volume periods.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and prepared items.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and follow all safety protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Prior experience as a line cook, or prep cook in a commercial kitchen preferred.
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work effeciently in high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Good team work and communication skills.
