Department Athletics, Strategic Communications-OPS Compensation $15.00 Hourly Required Qualifications The Athletics Communications Assistant will serve as the media relations contact for assigned sport(s). The responsibility of this position includes: Coordinating interviews and working with external media entities including print, radio, social media, web and tv for local, regional and national requests. Job Summary i9 Sports is seeking a BASKETBALL REFEREE for our North Atlanta locations. This is a part-time position with all activities on Saturday (approximately 5 hour work day). Candidate will assist in running our youth co-ed recreation league (ages 4-12) and officiate games. Job Summary The Sports Coordinator Soccer is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The Sports Coordinator will need to build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches is paramount. The position entails hands-on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skill levels. Responsibilities Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun Teach and demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills Assist coaches and teams with practices and drills to enhance learning Referee games on small-sided fields to ensure player safety and enforcement of game rules for each sport Qualifications Excellent communication skills Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems Awareness and ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks) Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check Be sure to opt-in to texting so we can reach out to you!
