JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT: Responsible for various aspects of running and supervising daily Parks and Recreation sports league games. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure courts are prepared for game play- inspect courts for safety hazards and ensure player/spectator seating is set up. Communicate with team captains, volunteer coaches, and spectators to assist teams and answer questions when needed. Notify teams of any schedule changes and rule interpretations. Distribute revised schedules to team captains when needed. Communicate with officials at start of games and throughout the evening. Assist officials in handling protests, player/spectator conflicts, and dealing with weather-related issues. Perform more than one task at a time Cook Qualifications At least on year experience of cooking on a fast paced kitchen line and food preparation experience. Culinary certified training preferred. Must be able to demonstrate the basic knowledge of cooking, following recipes, portion control, and presentation. Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with the other cooks, wait staff and supervisors. Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when preparing meals from a recipe, when assisting in the scheduling of the kitchen staff, or when monitoring inventory. Mathematical skills, including basic math, percentages, quantities, and variances are used frequently. Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency. May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. The Cook position requires the ability to perform the following: Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 75 pounds. Standing up and moving about the kitchen in a safe and efficient manner. Handling food, objects, products and utensils. Bending, stooping, kneeling.

WHAT (Contract Services Needed) TRACK - Receive and handle all event equipment, including camera gear & marketing assets. EXECUTION - Set up BallerTV's streaming system (filming equipment) at each court (or field). Move safely, be efficient and maneuver with a sense of urgency throughout your workday. MONITOR - Ensure each game's stream is steady and consistent. Operate and troubleshoot equipment and technology, maintain communication with the BallerTV team throughout the event. ENJOY - Watch live sports while working! How cool is that? FLEXIBILITY - This role is a part-time, weekend contractor position. Some events start as early as 6AM and run as late as 10PM. You may be asked to travel up to 40 miles one way. PAY - $19/hour Please note: Daily Shifts can be over 12 hours long. A weekend tournament (Fri, Sat, Sunday) can be over 30 hours of work.
