Basic Function:

The Multi-Line Insurance Customer Service Representative is the service link between the insurance agency client and the carriers represented by the agency. Assist agency with prospecting and sales activities.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Provide clerical assistance to agency producers
  • Assist on special projects
  • Round out accounts by cross-selling additional coverage or policies to agency clients.
  • Quoting possible personal, farm and commercial changes for premium differences
  • Responsible for the customer service needs of the office’s personal, farm and commercial insurance clients.
  • Process personal, commercial and farm policy changes and cancellations.
  • Proof all changes and cancellations.

Non-Essential Job Duties:

  • Assist in the training of appropriate agency personnel.
  • Assist in the development of manuals and supporting documentation to accomplish tasks/ duties inherent to this position.
  • Attend agency service and or sales meetings.
