Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Location: St. Petersburg, FLEmployment Type: Full-time | Onsite

Compensation:Pay will be based on experience and licensing status. Candidates holding a Florida 4-40 license are preferred and will be compensated accordingly.

About the Role:

We’re seeking a dependable and customer-focused Insurance CSR to join a growing local agency. This position supports clients and producers by handling policy servicing, renewals, billing inquiries, and day-to-day customer communication. The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, and eager to learn the insurance business.

Responsibilities:

• Provide prompt, courteous service to clients regarding policy changes, billing, and coverage questions• Prepare quotes, process renewals, and assist with new business applications• Communicate with carriers regarding policy updates, endorsements, and documentation• Maintain accurate records and follow up on outstanding client needs• Support agents and producers with administrative tasks and client outreach• Ensure compliance with agency and carrier procedures• Participate in training to maintain current insurance knowledge

Qualifications:

• Florida 4-40, required and 2-20, preferred

• Prior insurance office or customer service experience preferred• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with agency management systems a plus• Positive attitude and team-oriented work ethic
