What does an Insurance Loss Control Surveyor do? Our surveyors meet with the policyholder to photograph and evaluate the overall condition of the insured’s operations, buildings, and/or premises, and provide specific information to the insurance companies underwriters. Scheduling appointments with property owners Photograph and evaluate the overall condition of a building Effectively communicating via phone, email, and face to face discussions Observe commercial and residential properties for potential areas of risk Complete a brief report of your observations and upload photos to the field service platform Follow carrier instructions and maintain quality standards Maintain confidentiality and act with integrity Local travel to perform field inspections Qualifications for the ideal Independent Contractor: Car, Microsoft computer, smartphone, and reliable home internet Observant and curious Skills in time management and verbal/ written communications Basic computer skills, typing, uploading, and downloading documents, email, Microsoft Outlook and Word, as well as using the internet. Background in construction, fire & safety, hospitality, real estate or previous military service is beneficial, but not required. Our Vision: We are transforming the life insurance industry with technology and business systems that create a frictionless experience for clients and provide cutting edge tools to our advisors. Client Acquisition: We have our own in-house marketing team that generates approximately 20,000 new client requests per week, exclusively for our advisors. We use a data driven approach that is constantly fine-tuned to find and be found by motivated clients who have a need and desire to buy life insurance. Our system includes targeted direct mail and digital content that goes out to homeowners. Those homeowners who are interested in what we offer will personally respond through an online link, scanning a QR code on the direct mail piece, or by calling in and requesting us to contact them and set a virtual appointment over zoom to review their options. What does an Insurance Loss Control Surveyor do?
