Job Details:We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and passionate Insurance Defense Attorney to join our reputable legal team. This permanent position offers the opportunity to utilize and further develop your skills in a challenging and rewarding environment. The successful candidate will represent our clients in a wide range of insurance defense matters, providing strategic advice and delivering top-quality legal services.

Responsibilities:As an Insurance Defense Attorney, you will be responsible for:

1. Managing a caseload of complex insurance defense cases from inception through trial.
2. Conducting legal research and analyzing complex legal issues related to insurance law.
3. Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
4. Representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
5. Negotiating settlements to resolve disputes in the best interest of our clients.
6. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the efficient and effective management of cases.
7. Staying updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends related to insurance defense.
8. Providing expert legal advice to clients, explaining complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

Qualifications:We are looking for candidates who demonstrate the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance defense law.
4. Proven trial experience and strong litigation skills.
5. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
6. Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet strict deadlines.
7. Strong negotiation skills and ability to resolve disputes effectively.
8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
