A Brief Overview Specializes in commercial auto insurance sales through inbound customer service, delivering expert guidance to both existing policyholders and potential clients. QUOTING: Identifies proper coverage structure for risk, delivers price options and closes sales directly with the customer. Prepare quotes for customers within underwriting guidelines or with proper referral approval, as appropriate. Explains commercial coverage to customers. BILLING SUPPORT: Assists customer through the process of purchasing a policy using various billing options. Answers questions for potential customers and policyholders regarding billing, making electronic payments on-line at the insured’s request, setting up recurring EFT and credit card transactions for the account, responding to customer service inquiries and answering all other questions. UNDERWRITING ACTIVITIES: Serves as agent delivering excellent customer service to policyholders and prospective insureds specializing in inbound sales of commercial auto insurance. Identifies and evaluates risks, prices, and determines policy terms and conditions in accordance with Company guidelines to avoid adverse selection. Determines proper classification of risks and uses company software to rate risks, requesting additional information, as necessary. Works with Company underwriter to handle endorsement requests and provide pricing to the customer. THIRD PARTY DATA: Utilizes third party tools, data, and services to enable better underwriting decisions, improve accuracy of rating/exposure information, and produce better underwriting results. What are we looking for: Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience OR Associate's Degree and 2 or more years of related field experience. Experience in customer-facing role, preferably in financial services, healthcare, or other regulated industry. Excellent customer service skills Ability to multi-task Basic understanding of Insurance terminology Knowledge of basic math Who would excel in this role? PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Sell and service property and casualty insurance products including homeowners, auto, dwelling fire, flood, earthquake, windstorm, and umbrella policies, primarily to new homebuyers and builder-related clients. Evaluate property risk and recommend coverage based on builder specifications, underwriting guidelines, and geographic risk factors. Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell additional insurance products to meet client needs and enhance policy value. A Brief Overview

Specializes in commercial auto insurance sales through inbound customer service, delivering expert guidance to both existing policyholders and potential clients. Evaluates risk factors and relays appropriate pricing, policy terms, and conditions aligned with company underwriting guidelines. Provides comprehensive support by addressing coverage inquiries, billing concerns, and payment questions. Skillfully presents insurance solutions and directly secures sales by offering competitive pricing options to customers.

What will you do?

  • QUOTING: Identifies proper coverage structure for risk, delivers price options and closes sales directly with the customer. Prepare quotes for customers within underwriting guidelines or with proper referral approval, as appropriate. Explains commercial coverage to customers.
  • BILLING SUPPORT: Assists customer through the process of purchasing a policy using various billing options. Answers questions for potential customers and policyholders regarding billing, making electronic payments on-line at the insured’s request, setting up recurring EFT and credit card transactions for the account, responding to customer service inquiries and answering all other questions.
  • UNDERWRITING ACTIVITIES: Serves as agent delivering excellent customer service to policyholders and prospective insureds specializing in inbound sales of commercial auto insurance. Identifies and evaluates risks, prices, and determines policy terms and conditions in accordance with Company guidelines to avoid adverse selection. Determines proper classification of risks and uses company software to rate risks, requesting additional information, as necessary. Works with Company underwriter to handle endorsement requests and provide pricing to the customer.
  • THIRD PARTY DATA: Utilizes third party tools, data, and services to enable better underwriting decisions, improve accuracy of rating/exposure information, and produce better underwriting results.

What are we looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
    OR Associate's Degree and 2 or more years of related field experience.
  • Experience in customer-facing role, preferably in financial services, healthcare, or other regulated industry.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Basic understanding of Insurance terminology
  • Knowledge of basic math
