ABOUT THE JOB We are looking for an Associate to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA. These are the specific accomplishments the person in this role should achieve within the first 12-18 months: Develop Strategic Real Estate Plans: Create detailed strategic plans for corporate real estate strategy, asset acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing. This includes evaluating market trends, forecasting future company needs, and developing independently-minded solutions which align with company goals. Financial Analysis and Budgeting: Conduct thorough financial analyses for real estate projects, including cost-benefit analyses, ROI calculations, and budget management. Ensure that all financial aspects of real estate projects are meticulously managed and aligned with company financial goals. Optimize Space Utilization: Implement strategies to optimize the use of existing real estate assets, ensuring maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Lease Management: Oversee the execution of all lease agreements, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and negotiating favorable lease terms for the company. Work with the data analytics team to maintain an accurate real estate source of truth. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams, including finance, data analytics, legal, and facilities, to ensure cohesive strategies and execution of real estate initiatives. Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to support real estate goals. WHAT YOU'LL DO Financial Acumen: Strong expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and cost management related to real estate projects. Ability to conduct financial evaluations and provide strategic recommendations (Argus not required). Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of commercial real estate markets, trends, and industry standards. Ability to leverage market knowledge and relationships to inform strategic decisions. Strategic Planning: Proven experience in developing and implementing strategic plans for real estate development, acquisitions or operations. The Strategic Real Estate Operations team is responsible for establishing and maintaining a strategic approach to Anduril's real estate footprint, ensuring optimal use of resources and alignment with company goals. This role will build and execute foundational strategies and processes for real estate initiatives including the development, acquisition, operation and disposition of assets.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for an Associate to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA. These are the specific accomplishments the person in this role should achieve within the first 12-18 months:

  • Develop Strategic Real Estate Plans: Create detailed strategic plans for corporate real estate strategy, asset acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing. This includes evaluating market trends, forecasting future company needs, and developing independently-minded solutions which align with company goals.
  • Financial Analysis and Budgeting: Conduct thorough financial analyses for real estate projects, including cost-benefit analyses, ROI calculations, and budget management. Ensure that all financial aspects of real estate projects are meticulously managed and aligned with company financial goals.
  • Optimize Space Utilization: Implement strategies to optimize the use of existing real estate assets, ensuring maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This includes space planning, workplace strategies, and recommendations for space utilization improvements.
  • Lease Management: Oversee the execution of all lease agreements, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and negotiating favorable lease terms for the company. Work with the data analytics team to maintain an accurate real estate source of truth.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams, including finance, data analytics, legal, and facilities, to ensure cohesive strategies and execution of real estate initiatives. Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to support real estate goals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Financial Acumen: Strong expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and cost management related to real estate projects. Ability to conduct financial evaluations and provide strategic recommendations (Argus not required).
  • Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of commercial real estate markets, trends, and industry standards. Ability to leverage market knowledge and relationships to inform strategic decisions.
  • Strategic Planning: Proven experience in developing and implementing strategic plans for real estate development, acquisitions or operations. Ability to align real estate strategies with company goals and market trends. This includes identifying counterparty incentives and driving outcomes accordingly.
  • Independent Thinking: Proven ability to generate and convey unique, independent viewpoints and be confident in providing your opinion and driving results.
  • Process Implementation & Improvement: Ability to design, implement, and manage processes for real estate operations, including data validation, lease management, and space utilization. Experience in identifying process inefficiencies and streamlining processes.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with various teams to gather data, implement processes, and support strategic real estate goals. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in either commercial real estate (development, investing, asset management) or investment banking/consulting with a demonstrated interest in commercial real estate.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel as needed for site visits and meetings
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities

US Salary Range

$122,000-$183,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
