Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to support the development and construction teams in Indianapolis. In this role, you'll assist in overseeing real estate projects from inception to completion, contributing to a portfolio of Class-A developments, including apartments, mixed-use properties, and commercial spaces. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination, ensuring timelines and milestones are met.
- Support budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting for development and construction initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including developers, contractors, architects, and engineers, to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Conduct site visits, monitor progress, and help resolve on-site issues to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Prepare and review project documentation, such as contracts, permits, and progress reports.
- Aid in entitlement processes, including zoning, rezoning, and regulatory compliance for new developments.
- Contribute to risk assessment, vendor management, and procurement of materials and services.
- Participate in stakeholder communications, fostering positive relationships with investors, communities, and partners.
- Utilize data-driven tools to analyze market trends and support opportunity identification.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, Civil Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in project management, preferably in real estate development, construction, or a similar industry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of construction processes, budgeting, and regulatory requirements in Indiana is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset aligned with stakeholder-first values.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
