A Brief Overview

Performs radiologic examinations to allow accurate interpretation for diagnosis. Completes all appropriate paperwork.

What you will do

  • Performs various radiology procedures that produce examinations of premium diagnostic quality according to policy and procedure on a daily basis.
  • Performs all aspects of patient care during the performance of radiology procedures.
  • Maintains inventory and stock supplies as necessary.
  • Performs all routine maintenance and cleaning according to procedure. Performs equipment repair when necessary.
  • Assumes responsibility for any department to physician communication as needed.
  • Performs all quality control and quality assurance procedures for radiology and as outlined by the state of operation, FDA, and JCAHO.
  • Pushes and/or requests CD of images to be sent to outside facilities for comparison. Assures that reports are sent to outside providers who request images done by the facility.
  • Assists with processing of reports and images and other necessary office maintenance duties.
