PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs various activities necessary for the preparation of the patient and the procedure room for the radiology procedures in compliance with the organization’s policies and procedures and state and federal regulations. Reviews patient specific procedure orders to determine materials/supplies that will be needed. Sets up/ stocks the procedure room/procedure trays with all needed supplies and interventional equipment prior to procedure and cleans procedure room post procedure, including but not limited to cleaning of equipment/machinery. Job Summary
We are seeking a Radiology Technician to join our Urgent Care team! As a Radiology Technician and MA, you will prepare patients for their procedures by adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment, and adjusting controls and exposure settings to capture the required results. You will also be assisting in maintaining and cleaning radiology equipment, troubleshooting minor issues, and maintaining an inventory of daily supplies. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, prior experience working in a medical setting, and excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities 
  • Get to know patients to understand their medical needs and concerns, building and maintaining connections
  • Set up equipment for testing, adjust immobilization devices, move equipment, and adjust exposure to get the proper results
  • Thoroughly document all patient services within a patient’s chart
  • Maintain all equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and call in for repairs when necessary
  • Follow all required safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear, to maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with medical charting is strongly desired
  • Strong attention to detail
