We are looking for a Radiology Technologist to join our Orthopedics Team! This is a 1st shift position with no on-call. In this position, you will: Performs clinical responsibilities including biohazard waste monitoring; quality control methods; Provides technical radiological services as requested by patient’s physician to assist in the diagnoses of disease, injury and or the detection of foreign bodies through performance of radiographic procedures, including,but not limited to, chests, abdomens, and extremities; etc. Operates all imaging equipment in the prescribed manner to provide high quality diagnostic images, including but not limited to utilizing propertechnique, proper positioning of patient for procedure, collimating, shielding, use of lead markers, and theimmobilization of the patient using instruction and/or equipment developed for this purpose. Provides pre-exam instructions, verifies patient/caregiver understanding of instructions; maintains patient history files by utilizing the Paragon system, and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) scans patient reports; maintain film files; copies requested images for release and obtains x-ray reports. Job Description

We are looking for a Radiology Technologist to join our Orthopedics Team!  This is a 1st shift position with no on-call. In this position, you will: 

  • Performs clinical responsibilities including biohazard waste monitoring; quality control methods; Provides technical radiological services as requested by patient’s physician to assist in the diagnoses of disease, injury and or the detection of foreign bodies through performance of radiographic procedures, including,but not limited to, chests, abdomens, and extremities; etc.
  • Operates all imaging equipment in the prescribed manner to provide high quality diagnostic images, including but not limited to utilizing propertechnique, proper positioning of patient for procedure, collimating, shielding, use of lead markers, and theimmobilization of the patient using instruction and/or equipment developed for this purpose.
  • Provides pre-exam instructions, verifies patient/caregiver understanding of instructions; maintains patient history files by utilizing the Paragon system, and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) scans patient reports; maintain film files; copies requested images for release and obtains x-ray reports.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience: Completion of secondary education, and a state approved general radiation and protection course. 
  • Licensure: Ohio AART license required.
