Job Description: Essential Responsibilities: Technologist assits physicians and follows departmental guidelines and protocols in the performance of all diagnostic and interventional procedures. Follows infection control, sterile technique and contrast media protocols. Performs operation of imaging and interventional equipment (U/S, CT 3-D, Digital subtraction, Angiojet). Evaluates image quality. Knowledge of and responcible for supply inventory, expiration and stocking. Maintains monthly checks for supply expiration, patient database, eyewash and equipment competencies. Cooperate and assists with shift coverage and on-call responcilbilites. Must be able to wear a lead apron and stand for long periods of time, multitask, work quickly and efficiently. Required Qualifications: Vocational or Technical training in Radiologic Technology required. Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred. Radiologic Technologists prepare, administer, and document activities related to medications and radiation exposure in accordance with federal and state laws, regulations, or lawful institutional policy. Job Duties: Ensures correct order is obtained, patient is properly identified and prepared for exam, and that clinical history is corroborated and appropriately documented while respecting confidentiality. Utilizes appropriate imaging protocol and optimizes technical factors while maximizing patient safety, optimizing patient care, and applying principles of ALARA (As Low as Reasonably Achievable). Preparing and/or administering, as applicable, medications through new or existing vascular access site as prescribed by a licensed practitioner. Educating and monitoring students and other health care providers. Assisting the licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic and specialized radiologic procedures. Performing diagnostic radiographic and noninterpretive fluoroscopic procedures as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, including those procedures performed outside of the Radiology Department (i.e., Operating room, Endoscopy, ICU, etc.). Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

Technologist assits physicians and follows departmental guidelines and protocols in the performance of all diagnostic and interventional procedures. Follows infection control, sterile technique and contrast media protocols.

Performs operation of imaging and interventional equipment (U/S, CT 3-D, Digital subtraction, Angiojet). Evaluates image quality.

Knowledge of and responcible for supply inventory, expiration and stocking. Maintains monthly checks for supply expiration, patient database, eyewash and equipment competencies.

Cooperate and assists with shift coverage and on-call responcilbilites.

Must be able to wear a lead apron and stand for long periods of time, multitask, work quickly and efficiently.

Required Qualifications:

Vocational or Technical training in Radiologic Technology required. Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.

License Radiology MA License required., and Registration RT ART required.

1-3 years related work experience required.

Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prefer 1-3 years of Special Procedure experience.
