Documents patient care, and associated charging, in the Medical Record and Whiteboard systems. Is a Subject Matter Expert on appropriate positing and image quality for all modalities within the Radiology Department. Trains other employees in imaging positioning and quality. Maintains hospital cleanliness but performing general cleaning duties: Laundry, sweeping, moping, etc. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of Veterinary Technician experience required Registered Veterinary Technician, in Colorado, or the ability to become registered upon hire. About the Job:

The practice of radiography is performed by a segment of health care professionals responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. A radiographer performs radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by, or by the request of, a licensed independent practitioner.

What You'll Do:

  • Performs radiography procedures based on the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) "Radiography Practice Standards" and the ASRT "Code of Ethics"
  • Understands and adheres to departmental exam protocols
  • Actively participates in quality control and quality assurance activities using the "APIE" model.
  • Performs venipuncture
  • Prepares, administers, and documents activities related to contrast

Who You Are:

  • Completion of formal Radiological Technologist training from an AMA approved school

  • Twenty-four month clinical internship required

  • Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy, Required

  • ARRT certification, Required

  • ARRT eligible candidates will be considered for hire with the expectation that certification will be obtained within 12 months of hire

  • Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment

  • Experience with Epic, Preferred
