As a Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist, you will: Perform diagnostic imaging studies. Properly identifies patients, reviews order and selects appropriate protocol in order to maximize quality and safe patient care. Receive patients, explains procedures and answers all patient questions and concerns pertaining to the exam Be able to perform a variety of special imaging examinations using established or dictated protocols and perform all of the three different modalities as needed. Accurately perform documentation in all computer systems applicable to diagnostic x-ray (HIS, RIS, PACS) Be able to reconstruct images, films as well as process films. Operate imaging and other related equipment according to the manufacturer's specifications. Monitor and assists patients, before during and after examinations. Maintain a clean and safe environment. Knowledgeable and practices ALARA principles including proper shielding of patients. Maintain patient, hospital and employee confidentiality. To be able to provide quality care to patients of varying categories, i.e., pediatrics, geriatric and adolescent patients. Perform quality control and maintain pertinent local, state and federal records as applicable to different sections. Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist for our Germantown Emergency Center who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As a Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist, you will:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging studies. Properly identifies patients, reviews order and selects appropriate protocol in order to maximize quality and safe patient care.
  • Receive patients, explains procedures and answers all patient questions and concerns pertaining to the exam
  • Be able to perform a variety of special imaging examinations using established or dictated protocols and perform all of the three different modalities as needed.
  • Accurately perform documentation in all computer systems applicable to diagnostic x-ray (HIS, RIS, PACS)
  • Be able to reconstruct images, films as well as process films.
  • Operate imaging and other related equipment according to the manufacturer's specifications.
  • Monitor and assists patients, before during and after examinations. Maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Knowledgeable and practices ALARA principles including proper shielding of patients.
  • Maintain patient, hospital and employee confidentiality. To be able to provide quality care to patients of varying categories, i.e., pediatrics, geriatric and adolescent patients.
  • Perform quality control and maintain pertinent local, state and federal records as applicable to different sections.
  • Apply the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients we serve in the office.

Qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelors preferred not required.
  • 3 years of experience required
  • AART (RT) (CT) certified
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Work Schedule:

Every Other Weekend Saturday and Sunday: 1pm- 930pm

Pay Range:

$34.58 - $51.87
