Radiology Technologist

Role Summary

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Radiology Technologist to join their high-performing imaging team at a state-of-the-art medical center in Newberg, Oregon. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a vital role in performing high-quality imaging examinations in accordance with physician orders, while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and dignity. You’ll be part of a collaborative and mission-driven healthcare team, contributing your expertise to improve lives every day.

A $6,000 sign-on bonus is available to eligible external candidates—along with excellent benefits starting on day one.

Duties

• Perform radiologic imaging exams based on physician orders using a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment.

• Ensure appropriate positioning, radiation safety, and image quality with consideration for patient-specific and age-related factors.

• Apply clinical judgment in technique calibration and patient care to produce optimal diagnostic images.

• Adhere to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles to minimize radiation exposure to both patients and operators.

• Provide a positive patient experience by maintaining professionalism, empathy, and attention to individual needs.

• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Education sufficient to meet all certification, license, or registration requirements.

• Licensure (upon hire):

• Oregon Radiographer License or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License

Certification:

• National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 6 months of hire

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire

• For New Graduates: Must hold an OBMI temporary license upon hire and obtain permanent licensure within 6 months

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
